Tag template
A tagging system ready to copy and adapt. Four axes that cover almost any collection without turning into a mess of duplicate tags.
By performer
The axis you'll use most. PornLibrary detects performers on its own when you save; add any that are missing by hand. Always use the same name format.
- first-last
- only if you follow specific performers
By category or genre
What the video is about. Pick broad, consistent terms; avoid keeping both the singular and plural of the same idea.
- amateur
- milf
- romantic
- hardcore
- vintage
By format
Optional, handy if length or quality matter to you. Keep the values few.
- short
- long
- 4k
- vertical
By context or status
What you want it for, or when. If this one grows, move it to a collection instead of a tag.
- favorite
- watch-later
- discover
Four rules to keep it from falling apart
- Consistency above all: pick one term per idea and stick to it (not 'blonde' and 'blondes').
- Lowercase and no accents: easier to remember and to type when filtering.
- Start small: five tags on day one, add more as it grows.
- Tag vs collection: if it describes what the video is, it's a tag; if it's about why you want to watch it, it's a collection.
In PornLibrary, much of the tagging happens on its own: automatic extraction detects performers and categories when you save, and you fine-tune with collections and tags. For the details on when to use each, see how to categorize your videos.
