18 U.S.C. 2257 compliance statement

PornLibrary is a private library and bookmarking service. It does not produce, create, host, or store any of the visual content that its users reference. All actual video content is produced and hosted by third-party websites, and those websites are the producers responsible for record-keeping under 18 U.S.C. 2257 and its associated regulations.
Why 2257 record-keeping does not apply to PornLibrary
PornLibrary stores only user-submitted links and derived metadata (such as a title, thumbnail, and tags) that point to material hosted elsewhere. PornLibrary produces no depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct. Because PornLibrary neither creates nor hosts any such depictions, the record-keeping and labeling requirements of 18 U.S.C. 2257 do not apply to PornLibrary. Those obligations rest with the original producers and hosts of the content, who maintain the required records for the material they create and distribute.
