DMCA policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

PornLibrary respects intellectual property and expects its users to do the same. PornLibrary is a personal bookmarking and library tool: users save links and automatically extracted metadata (title, thumbnail, tags) that reference videos hosted by third-party sites. PornLibrary does not host, store, or stream the underlying video files. This page explains how to report material you believe infringes your copyright under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

What PornLibrary actually stores

Because PornLibrary only saves references (a link plus derived metadata) to content that lives on someone else's servers, a takedown on PornLibrary removes the reference, not the source video. If you want the underlying file taken down, you will also need to contact the site that hosts it. Removing a link here does not remove the source video.

How to file a takedown notice

Send a written notice to our designated agent at info@pornlibrary.app. To be effective under the DMCA, your notice should include the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works are covered by a single notice).
  • The specific URL or location on PornLibrary of the link or metadata you want removed, with enough detail for us to locate it.
  • Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

When we receive a notice that reasonably appears to comply with the requirements above, PornLibrary reviews it and, if it is valid, removes or disables access to the referenced link and metadata expeditiously. We may also notify the affected user that the material has been removed.

Counter-notification

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. Your counter-notice should identify the material and its location before removal, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, provide your name, address, telephone number, and email, include your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and carry your physical or electronic signature. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material as permitted by law.

Repeat infringers

PornLibrary maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
