How to organize and save adult videos you find online, without bookmarks or spreadsheets

Why bookmarks and spreadsheets stop working

Both store a URL and leave the rest to you. A bookmark has no preview and does not know who is in the video, so past thirty or forty entries you are guessing from titles the site chose. A spreadsheet can hold performers and tags, but only if you type them for every row, and nobody keeps that up. Both also put the collection in the least private place you have: the bookmark bar that opens with your work tabs, or a sheet in the same drive as your documents. When the site takes a video down, neither tells you; the row just stops working.

Where the general tools fit, and where they do not

Raindrop.io is a good general bookmark manager, and plenty of people stash videos in it. It keeps the link clean and tagged, but it does not read adult pages, so an entry is the site's own title and favicon, with no cast, no duration and no preview worth the name. Pocket was the other common answer until Mozilla shut it down in 2025. Are.na (a collecting tool built around channels) and Obsidian (a notes app) come up too; both hold links fine, and neither reads a video page or knows what a performer is, so every field is manual. Plex, Jellyfin and Kodi are media servers, and Stash, Hydrus Network and Eagle are desktop catalogers. All of them are built for files on your disk. If you download videos and keep them, they are the right tools and PornLibrary is not competing with them: Stash scrapes metadata for the files you hold, and a media server streams them to any screen. How PornLibrary does it

You save a link. Paste it into the library, or with lifetime access click the save button the Chrome extension adds on 28 sites. On the 29 sites with automatic extraction the title, preview, duration, performers and tags fill in by themselves, read from the page's own markup and cleaned (site names and quality suffixes stripped from titles, follower counts stripped from performer names, category labels kept out of the cast). Then you organize. Collections and tags are the two axes: collections for groups you browse, tags for attributes you filter by, and performers are first-class, so every name becomes a page of that person's videos. Full-text search and filters run across all of it, and the built-in player opens the video where you saved it, so the library is also where you watch.

Private by default. Each library belongs to one account and is isolated at the database layer with row-level security, not only in the interface. Nothing is public unless you explicitly publish it. The library is not tied to any tube site account and does not sync into a browser profile, so it is not in the bookmark bar and not on a shared device's sign-in. What it is not. PornLibrary does not host, stream, download or redistribute video. It stores the link and the metadata around it. If a site removes a video, the dead-link check flags the entry; it cannot bring the video back.
